Background: A PhD in Geography, Chandra has over a decade of experience as an academic in the United Sates. Chandra has come back to India, to fulfill his dream of setting up an organization that studies development issues through the window of cultural geography. Chandra has expertise in GIS and has helped several Bangalore based organizations in developing baseline surveys. Janastu is currently with Chandra on developing a consortium of organization working of HIV/AIDS. The objective of the consortium is to help create standards for collecting and sharing data in the area of HIV/AIDS.
