Background: Subbu, as he is known to us, has a background in computer science. He has a broad interest in social justice concerns and volunteered with several organizations in the US and in India. Organizations that he has contributed his time to include Asha for Education-Madison, Friends of River Narmada, South Asia Forum-Madison and Environment Support Group, Bangalore. Subbu has maintained the Friends of River Narmada website (www.narmada.org) for two years. Subbu is currently pursuing IT work that is pertinent to the needs of groups and individuals involved in social justice work. More fundamentally, Subbu?s interests are in aligning lifestyle, work, and community keeping social justice concerns in mind.
